HILLTOP RAKKOR JR 2018 Friesian Blood Horse Registry gelding. “Mack” is looking for a new home. Previously Mack was used for a buggy horse. Owner saw the potential he had in the riding world and decided to pass him along to somewhere he can truly live up to his full potential. Would make an excellent dressage prospect with his beautiful natural movement. The Good: ✅ Absolute perfect stall & barn manners. Is always respectful while being fed and always pays careful attention to his handler. Being aware as not to crowd out their space in a way only a gentle giant can. ✅always the first at the gate ✅Stands patiently and kindly for the farrier whether he is tied or has someone holding him. ✅Lets you clip his ears and bridle path and will even drop his head with a slight touch on the lead. ✅Comes out each day ready to please with a sweet loving personality. ✅When you enter his stall to halter he will face you and drop his head so that anyone can reach. ✅ Stunning. ✅ Is taught to sit down on a shaving pile, hay etc. He’ll stay sitting all day if so desired :) ✅Has done countless miles in harness. He’s been driven single and has experience in 4 horse and 8 horse hitches. ✅ Went along on countless riding trips where he was ridden on trails with lots of other horses and plenty of chaos. ✅He is taught to come to the mounting block. ✅ Under saddle he yields off of leg. WTC both directions. Backs nicely. Will walk down a trail on a loose rein with his ears forward and a spring in his step. He takes the lead or can bring up the rear. His disposition and ability to learn is absolutely impeccable. ✅ Takes on puddles, bridges, creeks, rocks, uphill, downhill & picks his way along with a step you can always trust. ✅ Goes out alone or with others very well. ✅Is completely unbothered by dogs, chickens and goats, bikes etc. ✅He came to me beginning of June and since has been with me to Cook Forest Cowboy Week where he was exposed to endless campsites, trails, cows etc. ✅Been ridden by every level of rider, from novice beginner, sister’s fiancé, children from ages 3-10 and my dog. The children have also handled him on the ground (as seen in video) ✅ Is super responsive and always ready to please. ✅ Loads and unloads like a dream. ✅Mid to upper rank of pecking order but is respectful and not unnecessarily mean in anyway. ✅ Isn’t spooky and handles new environments gracefully ✅we have/are working on the beginning steps of liberty on the ground as well. ✅ Negative coggins taken in June. He continues to be worked daily and is always improving. He has had his fair share of experiences out and about but has not been pushed in the show ring. He’s ready, are you?:) The Bad: ❌ While being trailered alone he tends to paw when you stop. ❌ After knowing him, no other horse will ever compare again. ❌ Is not up to date on vaccines. Currently has 4 shoes on but has great solid feet so could go either way. CHECK OUT HIS VIDEO!
