✨ Meet Rapidash (aka Dash)! 🔥
Dash is a handsome Paint gelding with a big personality and an even bigger heart- not to mention one striking blue eye and one brown eye that make him impossible to forget. Originally from a lesson program, he's been with me for the past 8 months while we've focused on pleasure riding and having fun together. Coming from a hunter/jumper background and growing up on the circuit, I was looking for a horse I could enjoy myself while eventually bringing my daughter along who is a true beginner at age 7. As much as I've loved having him, working full-time has made it difficult to give him the consistency he deserves- and he ended up being not a good fit as a lead line candidate.
Dash is not a "kick-along" beginner horse, but he *is* the kind of horse that develops riders. He's honest, forgiving, and incredibly genuine, making him the perfect partner for a rider ready to gain confidence and move to the next level with the guidance of a trainer or a solid program. He's the horse that helps create riders who can go on to ride anything.
True to his Pokémon namesake, Dash has some fire! He's definitely way more **go than whoa**, but he's all heart. No buck, no bolt, very smooth gaits, we’ve also been making great progress with his frame and is becoming softer and more consistent every ride. He jumps honestly, has a willing attitude, and enjoys having a job. Whether you're looking to improve your riding, bring along a junior rider with trainer support, or add a fun, athletic partner to your program, Dash has a lot to offer.
He's also an easy keeper- currently field-boarded, happily goes barefoot, and is up to date on vaccinations and Coggins.
More than anything, I'm looking for the right home. Dash deserves someone who will appreciate his personality and absolutely spoil him.
