We have traveled many miles together all over the western United States, trailing cows/sorting and brandings or seeing the sights down the trail. Some clinics we've been in together would be Bryan Neubert, Les Vogt and most recently a ranch roping clinic with S&R livestock. He's a nice horse who is generally more woah than go but will do a job when asked. What keeps him from being a beginner horse is his lack of personal accountability in other words he needs a leader who won't allow half hearted efforts. He is gentle, broke and sound. He comes from a ranch/cow horse foundation. We've long trot many miles together and put in a full days work. Has been used in the branding pen for the last 2 seasons. He has not been spoiled but well taken care of. He has excellent manners all around. Chancho is a 7 year old mustang from Paisley Desert, Oregon. This double swirl beauty is put together nicely and stands at 14.3 hands. I keep him barefoot but has been shoed when needed. He's great for the farrier. Will load in any trailer including stock racks. Hobble trained fronts and backs. Will stand tied all day quietly. If someone was looking for their next show horse he would definitely get you noticed. He has a nice handle on him. His show career is minimal, but always places. He is currently with a professional performance horse trainer being shown in ranch horse. I'd like to see him go to someone with strong horsemanship and leadership skills. I will be selective as I wish him nothing but success. He's located in Nunn, Colorado. Mid five figures starting with a 1.
