Kernal has been with us since he was 2 and only 30 days training. He has been shown in many disciplines over the years by 3 different family members ranging from Showmanship, Western Horsemanship, Trail classes, English on flat and low jumping, Ranch, Gymkhana, Cowboy Mounted Shooting, Competitive Trail rides. He has been used with extensive trail riding and camping, including on long haul trips out West. Ridden half way down the Grand Canyon and many states we have traveled. He is the choice for a fun steady trail mount. Goes where you ask, have not found the end of his stamina. Used for YEDA competitions. Quiet, unless you ask for the gymkhana to come out. Level minded, best suited for someone who has rode, or with a group that knows how to ride. He can pack a green person but also is willing to go where you point him and as fast as you would ask, so best not to ask unless you know how to ride. He is capable of walking and going slow if that is the desire. Oldest son is getting married this fall and last of the 5 kids have just graduated 4H and school. Sadly we have too many horses to keep them all. If kids would be riding he would not be leaving. Just competed this year in Western and Classical Dressage both in open, and state level qualifier and placings, he is very versatile. Sound, can go barefoot, great with the farrier, ground manners, easy keeper, loads, washes, respects fence, not at the bottom of the herd but not top dog, All things expected for a seasoned horse, no bad habits. PPE welcome
