Meet Theodore, affectionately known as "Theo," a gorgeous 6-year-old Welsh (Hackney?) cross pony gelding standing at 13.1 hands. He is a total love bug on the ground and a chill riding partner for any adventure. Coming off an Amish farm as a former school pony, he has nice barn manners and has been extensively handled by kids and has also been in our lesson program for the past 9 months. He has really become part of the family during his time here and has even been handled on the ground by my toddler. Unfortunately, we really need some larger mounts as our lesson program expands.
Theo is sound with no health issues and requires zero maintenance. He is the same pony if you ride him everyday or let him sit for a week or two. He is very sure footed and rides in any weather. Ties, loads, bathes & hauls wonderfully. No prep at shows.
⭐Walks, trots, and canters smoothly. Picks up both leads easily. Has natural talent for a flying change

⭐ Has excellent brakes and a steady brain
⭐ Still green to jumping but clears up to 18" fences and small courses
⭐ Can be wiggly in his body and does best with a rider who can steer with leg and rein aids so best not suited for teaching kiddos to trot at this time
⭐ Rides safely bareback, English, Western, and drives too
⭐ Confident and steady on trail rides. Enjoys water and will swim in our pond as well.
