“Charlie” is a 2014 double-registered AQHA & APHA gelding with Western Pleasure and Showmanship training.
Charlie is 15.3 hands and a striking Dun with a full dorsal stripe, zebra striping on his legs, and four white stockings. Bling, bling! His unique blue/brown eyes and sleek, shiny coat immediately capture everyone’s attention when he enters the show ring.
Charlie loads, stands quietly for the farrier, clips, and bathes. He stands quietly for mounting and rides off smoothly and collected. He takes both leads without hesitation and has smooth transitions into extended gaits. He stops on a dime. He has the presence to stand out in the show ring—or anywhere he goes.
Charlie is quiet, well-behaved, and truly enjoyable to be around. He loves his stall, his fan, and his blankets. He respects an electric fence as well as traditional fencing, and he is clean in his stall.
Charlie would be a wonderful partner for a 4-H youth, adult, or senior rider. He is quiet and dependable while still having the flash and Charismatic energy you want in a show horse.
Charlie is truly sweet and enjoyable. I love riding him, but I believe he is happiest in the show world, doing what he loves. He deserves to have someone who enjoys showing as much as he does!
