Rocket is a three year old Warm Springs mustang gelding. He’s been under saddle for several months, ridden out on trails and in the arena.
He’s not a beginner horse yet; he has no bolt, rear, etc, but he is still green. He walks, trots, lopes, and steers willingly and understands how to move his shoulders off your leg. He wants to please, is smart, and loves attention; he’ll leave his hay to come say hi 😂. He bathes, ties, trailers, and stands well for the farrier.
He needs someone experienced to take him the rest of the way, but with more training he’s going to be a fantastic partner!
Although a mustang, he was born domestic and has always been around people. He’s also been exposed to mini donkeys, cows, chickens, dogs, heavy equipment, and small children. Overall just has a great foundation and is ready for his next home!
