Selling an 11 year old 14.2 hand grade gelding. He has a strong personality, is as sweet as can be. He’s the 1st horse to meet me at the gate, he will stand while I fumble around with his halter and tack. He’s very smart and wants to be ridden all the time. I’m getting older and i don’t have enough time to ride regularly, so I think he needs someone who has more time and energy to ride than I do. He has had several weeks of brush up training recently. He is UTD on his vaccines and coggins. I will list all his pros and cons below. Pros: Very sweet Easy to catch anywhere in pasture, will follow you all over. Great for Farrier Easy to load in trailer No bite No bolt Easy to bathe Good for vet Likes to be ridden, can ride bareback Has been great with the kids. Is fine with the dogs. Weaknesses Does a small crow hop when going from trot to lope. He doesn’t do it when ridden regularly. Experienced lack of feed in his life, so can be little food aggressive. Is a dominant horse, will pester other horses. I don’t know much about his history, he does have some scars, the Dr’s said looks like he may have gotten caught up in a fence when he was younger, but I have no idea. I do know that he was not fed well from where I got him and believe that is why he has some food aggressive tendencies, nothing crazy, I just feed him 1st and he’s fine. I’m happy to send pictures and videos if your interested.
