Dahlia is a 16-year-old, 16-hand registered Friesian mare with an exceptional pedigree, wonderful temperament, and extensive experience.

She is an affectionate mare who enjoys attention and having a job. Dahlia rides very well in the arena, but she truly excels outside the ring. She particularly enjoys trail riding, obstacles, and new experiences. She has a confident, willing attitude and is the type of horse that can be genuinely enjoyed both in and out of the arena.

Dahlia is exceptionally well mannered and easy to handle. She ties, clips, bathes, trailers, and stands quietly for the farrier. She is especially fond of water and absolutely loves swimming.

Her pedigree is equally impressive. Dahlia is sired by the late Ulbert 390, a successful FEI competitor with numerous wins at Prix St. Georges. Her dam, Dutchess of Ballard, is a 2e Premie mare and a daughter of the legendary Melle 311.

Dahlia has been very loved and well cared for throughout her life. Her current owner recently welcomed a baby and has made the difficult decision to find Dahlia a new home where she can continue to receive the attention, care, and appreciation she deserves.
