Madara is an exceptional experienced AQHA registered trail horse. I have ridden her for eight years throughout Colorado, in Jackson Wyoming along the Snake River,up into the mountains around Steamboat Springs and elsewhere. She is sure footed and secure on steep trails, water crossings and rocky terrain. She walks, trots and canters to leg command, turns to body posture command and has never had any behavior problems. She stands still for shoeing, loads without hesitation and has never had any behavioral problems. She has never bucked or crow hopped and loves being around people and other horses. She is completely desensitized to truck and car traffic, dogs and other animals.

My wife and I are have decided to retire from riding due to my wife’s deteriorating disc syndrome in her neck that prohibits her from further riding. Madara is the best horse we have owned in thirty years of riding! Great for riders of all ages. She is in excellent health and condition, has excellent hoofs and has had regular vacinations and deworming. She was initially trained as a cuttiing horse and has been ridden in ranch rodeos barrel racing, cutting and sorting.


I was the President of Summit Valley Horse Center for four years recently. We train rescues and teach children and adults animal husbandry. I am currently retired and due to my wife's illness we are selling our horses.
