In the Breeze, aka Vivian. 2022 chestnut mare out by AP Indy and Shackleford. She came off the track and arrived here July 2025. Has had a year of building muscle and being a baby horse. She is ready to restart, so should still be RRP eligible.
She came in off the track with a thrush infection. Treated with sugadine, clean it and clay packing. Have had her barefoot ever since her first trim at my place. Was sore at first and eariler this summer a little after a trim. Therefore, I was not sure if was related to grass, thrush or barefoot. Have had her on grass, barefoot, and trimmed consistently since July without any soreness. Scheduled for a trim on Oct 2nd. When in work likely will need shoes. Have Xrays from 2025 and 2026 of feet that I can get from my Vet office if needed.
