Roanie is a sweet, personable mare who is easy to have around and enjoyable to ride. She has a solid foundation, is responsive to her rider, and has been exposed to a variety of experiences both in and out of the arena.
Roanie neck reins, side passes, leg yields, haunch turns, forehand turns, etc. and is easy to maneuver off your hands and legs. She knows the showmanship, has experience with ranch riding, has been ridden over poles, and has even been ridden bridleless.
She has been hauled to horse shows, loped through the barrel pattern a handful of times, and ridden all over the ranch property. She has also been used for intermediate youth and adult lessons.
Roanie is just as pleasant on the ground. She clips, ties, bathes, and hauls with no issues and has no vices or bad habits. She is an easy keeper and is barefoot, requires no maintenance, and is sound.
Roanie would be a great choice for someone looking for a well-broke, versatile mare to enjoy in the arena, around the ranch, at local shows, or continue developing in the direction of their choice. She has plenty of buttons while still being straightforward and enjoyable to ride.
