Grade Quarter Horse Gelding – 11 yo – 14h – $4,000 OBO – Tahlequah, OK
Selling my 11-year-old, 14-hand grade Quarter Horse, (his coggins paperwork says Quarter Horse) gelding. Beautiful, loving, chocolate color with a flaxen mane and tail.
Peanut Butter has excellent ground manners and is easy to handle. He catches, ties, loads, stands for the farrier, and is excellent to work with on the ground. Peanut is healthy and sound and just had a vet wellness visit, teeth floating and is current on vaccinations, and has a negative Coggins test from April in hand. All vet receipts will come with him.
He has been ridden extensively around my farm, on wooded trails, open fields, along the road around traffic, and at the Round Up Club arena and grounds around other horses. He has been exposed to a variety of obstacles and distractions including loose horses, cows, dogs, barrels, bleachers, buildings, farm equipment, tractors, trash cans, loud music, and other activity, and has handled these situations well.
I have primarily ridden him as a trail horse at a walk and occasional trot. He is barefoot and has been comfortable riding barefoot around the farm. Farrier care is current and maintained regularly and his feet were trimmed on last Saturday. He is an easy keeper and does well on grass hay.
He has been a good horse for me, but he can get fresh when he has excess energy. I would not recommend him for a complete beginner. He would be better suited to someone that knows how to ride a horse.
Serious inquiries welcome. Can deliver. Call (number at end of the ad), text, email through CL. Located near Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
