Brains, beauty, versatility, and an exceptional work ethic—this young Welsh Cob has it all! Born and raised right here on our farm, this handsome 3-year-old stallion has been handled since birth and is everything we love about the Welsh Cob breed. Exceptionally intelligent, eager to please, and absolutely loves attention, he has the kind of sensible, willing temperament that's hard to find in a young horse—let alone a stallion! He was lightly started driving last fall and began his riding education this spring. He has also been driven in a pair, and once he's harnessed and working, you'd never know he was a stallion. He takes his job seriously, learns quickly, and consistently impresses us with his maturity and trainability. A few highlights: Age: 3 years Height: Currently 13.3 hands, expected to mature around 14.1 Training: Started under saddle and driving, including pairs Temperament: Exceptionally sensible, affectionate, intelligent, and willing Manners: Excellent stall manners and respectful handling Health: Always 100% sound and healthy Management: Easy keeper who does well stalled or living outside Travel: Has hauled alongside mares and geldings for trail rides and behaves like a gentleman. He has an outstanding disposition and is a pleasure to have around the barn. Like many intelligent young horses, he appreciates having a job and regular turnout. He does have a very mild tendency to crib when stalled without adequate exercise or stimulation, but this has not been an issue when he has turnout. We believe in being completely transparent about every horse we offer. Stallion or gelding—the choice is yours! We've gone back and forth about gelding him, but his excellent manners have made it easy to keep him intact. We would happily consider having him gelded for the right buyer if preferred. His potential is truly exciting. Whether you're looking for a Welsh Cob stallion prospect, competitive driving or riding partner, or a versatile pleasure horse, he has the mind, movement, and willingness to excel in a variety of directions. The only reason he's available is that we already have two other stallions. If you know Welsh Cobs, you'll immediately recognize what makes this young man special. And if you've never had the pleasure of getting to know the breed, he's the kind of horse who will make you fall in love with it.
