Sire: appaloosa Dam: warmblood/andalusian Piper is awesome. She works as a school horse for my students, goes on trails, we do Working Equitation courses. She helps me keep young horses calm on their first outings, and is always looking to connect to me. She seems to enjoy seeking higher points of balance in the advanced work, as well as just hanging out in relaxation. Now it's time for her to find a person of her own, who appreciates her big personality and her spots. I think she could be suitable to just about any rider skill level, with the right kind of support for a less advanced person, I don't think experience is as important as the desire for a partnership with a horse like Piper. She's very versatile and adapts to the rider's ability - from beginners to advanced. Piper is unique, she has not been trained to "hold a posture", she responds truly to the rider's balance and feel. She has been around and done stuff, but is not a solid bombproof horse yet. Piper is calm and safe and sensitive too. With "lots of temperament", like they say in Europe. She tries hard, and like most appaloosas, demands fairness. She can be very set in her ideas and is not a horse to get in a fight with. She has been schooled following the principles of Relational Horsemanship and Vertical (google it). Mostly this means that she's looking to connect with her human, and expects to be ridden in lightness and balance. She knows all the lateral work in all gaits, green flying changes and pirouettes. Tempi changes won't be a problem, she volunteers them now. Diagonalization (preliminary to piaffe). Little bit towards Passage. Piper is very ride-able and wants to please. She works in snaffle or double bridle and would be happy to work in a curb only. barefoot, outside in a herd. no supplements/medications I bought her as an un-started 3 year old Delivery available within reasonable distance. Price is less important than the right home! more photos: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.102873009290344&type=3 phone by appointment only please email/text anytime: Zuzana 1-306-240-9518 zuschramm@hotmail.com
