If you’re looking for your next lifelong partner, game for anything, unicorn in the making, with looks to boot, then look no further. Here he is. “Pepper” is a 3y/o 14.2ish stout and big boned, AQHA gelding. If you look up “gelding” in the dictionary, his picture will be there. Pepper is your quintessential gelding. Quiet, easy going, sweet, never cranky, literally just happy to exist. He’s had a great education, he’s fancy broke, has all the buttons, but hasn’t been worked to death. He’s been turned out for over 3 months to grow and be a horse and we pulled him out 4 days ago and he was exactly as he had been left. He’s had beginner riders, kids, advanced riders, been used for lessons, roped off, shot off, and has done cavalry charges with helicopters over head. Yes, you read that right. His owner is the civilian trainer for the Fort Carson Mounted Color Guard so this horse has been exposed to things 99% of horses never have been. He’s an awesome trail horse, zero herd/barn sourness, super brave, and has literally never even looked sideways at something, trailers great, stands tied, good to bathe, and all those important things. He’s been started on the flag and been to a few local cuttings. He’s not going to be some big cutting horse, but would be ideal for someone wanting to do it a little weekend show here and there for fun. He will not be a hard core performance horse. The video of him being shot off? His first time ever doing it. He’d be a great lower level mounted shooting prospect, he’s not a super fast guy but he can be quick. Literally, this horse is just a good boy, that’s only ambition in life is to do whatever his rider asks of him and then go eat afterwards. SO if you’re looking for a horse that does it all for you, so you don’t need to have 3 different ones, that is just getting started in life. Here you go.
