Rodi is a rising 2 year old (foaled 6/6/21) by OFI Thorsten out of Isabella by Smedsmo Graen. He is the culmination of my breeding program and my "goal foal" but I realize a need to downsize and simplify and I am letting this dream pass.
At 20 months, Rodi sticked at 13.3hh at the hip and 13.2 at the withers. His dam is 14hh with a permanent pony card and his sire is 14.2hh. Both parents are successful in the dressage court. Thorsten debuted this year at 1st level under a professional with a winning 68 and Rodi's mom, Isabella, is my dressage horse. Currently competing at Pre St George, fully trained by me--an adult amateur who has never ridden another dressage horse! She scored 65's at 4th level and has pony cup and All-breed awards.
Rodi has age appropriate life experiences (ties, loads, bathes, spray, blanket) and is a friendly, social horse. We live at a wedding venue and Rodi is regularly exposed to 100's of people in what becomes a "petting zoo" type environment and is appropriately socialized. He is very friendly and always whinnies a greeting when he sees me.
Gelded, great feet and great for farrier, UTD on shots/healthcare.
