If your wanting a solid trail mount or a horse that likes to live on the slower side Stitch is your guy. He started life as an Ag Range horse in southern Florida roping cows, he didn't grow up enough to handle the big bulls so he was sold to my friend Natalie who wanted to sort cows but got sucked back into the english and jumping lifestyle. Stitch did not fit in that direction as he does NOT like jumping, so she sent him to me to find his next person. Stitch loves cows, he does wake up and moves quick around them. He spent 30 days with a roping trainer in Feb for a refresher. Rides in a halter just like in a bridle. Stitch is a 6 year old grade QH gelding. Stands 14.2 hands tall Bathes, clips, trailers, stands good for the farrier, highlines, stands tied quietly. Vet checked teeth in April and said they are good. Up to date on coggins and vaccinations. Could work for a child IF they are handy, as he is sensitive on the ground and takes a bit to warm up to a new person, but solid once your on. He has good and bad days with being caught, but more good lately. He can be ridden out solo and goes through anything and everything. Moves sound, always has but has a superficial scar that looks like a rope burn on top of his front knee that took his hair off. Pre-purchase exams welcome at buyers expense. Videos and more pictures available upon request.
