Mr. Neon was originally sold by the Mastagni Mule Company to the Olympic Park Service. He packed with them for a few years, and reportedly packed everything. He was then a riding mule for the Park. Reference available. I bought him from his owner on the Olympic Peninsula 2 years ago. I have another mule that I ride more, but have ridden him a dozen times or so and he has done well. I have ridden him mostly with another horse, and has gone alone. He has good energy and a fast walk. He is a waiting at the gate, in your pocket mule that loves people and leads, ties, loads and trailers well. He is fine for the farrier for trims, with excellent hooves, not needing shoes. I have ridden him with Britchin and crupper western, and McClellan. He is fat on our local grass during the summer. Age is per report, his teeth look younger to me. We are planning to travel this winter, and need to simplify. Neon is a premium mule, handsome and easygoing. He doesn’t have bad habits, and minds the hot wire. The kids and neighbors love him as he is very personable and hopes for attention.
