Are you looking for a trail partner that is eager, alert, smooth and willing? If so, meet Lacey (aka Maggie)! 🤠 Lacey is a 13 year old mare with breeding that can go many directions. (Had Veterinarian check age) 🤠 She was sold to me as a Missouri Foxtrotter. She is gaited, but not a Missouri Foxtrotter. Genetic testing revealed Lacey to be: Welsh Cob, Lusitano and Akhal-Teke. 🤠 Lacey has a puppy dog personality with a willing nature. 🤠 She is 15h 🤠 We are located in Central Iowa. 🤠 ddbrewick@gmail.com 🤠 (515)422-2777 🤠 She's a #1 on the behavior scale and any confident rider can take her down the trail. 🤠 How many carrots? I'm looking for a 5 Star home, and I'm in no hurry to sell. Shes not cheap, but won't break the bank either. Mid XXXX 🤠 If truely interested it's best to call. 🤠 Due to a health issue, I've only been able to ride 1 time this year. Because of this I sent her to a trainer. The Trainer provided a summary below. "Lacey was with me at Lazy T Quarter Horses for a month getting a refresher. Seeing her behaviors were equipment or her just needing to be retrained. Lacey got here the first day. We let her rest and get familiar with her surroundings. Day 2 we put a saddle on her and lunged her. No issues. Walked her down county road no issue. Came back did a walk, trot, canter, stop, and back up. No issue. Need no more than one ☝️ finger neck rein. Stopped on a dime. Day 3-4 we're riding in unfamiliar areas of property. No issue. Walked where we were heading. Took couple days off. Road her at a photo shoot in town. She went through buildings at a fairgrounds. Watched people and horses being photographed. Road down a highway with traffic. After bathed her without issue. Hauled in and out of trailers. Took to a mounting block. Saddles and bridled with ease. Stalled nicely. Stood at trailer nicely. Trailered nicely. Road on trail rides with my husband riding her. No issue. Took pics with grandson ( who's 2) riding her. No issue. Issues she does have- she gets buddy and hers sour when she's in a pasture. Gets hard to catch. We have 21 acres. She will not act sour when on her. Let me be clear. She isn't sour while on her back. Only when she's loose. She wants to be with a partner or with a herd. Will ride away from group of riders. Will go by herself on trails." TESSA, the trainer will take phone calls.
