Fiona is in many ways a typical Fell pony filly. She is super friendly and inquisitive with people, yet very respectful. She is a fine example of the breed standard, showing elegance and beauty at a very young age. What sets her apart from other Fell youngsters is her movement. Her trot and canter show impressive impulsion and straightness. This filly would be most suited for a show home, anything that would exhibit or appreciate her athleticism. Please look at the videos to see what I mean. She is out of a champion driving mare, who out of and by imported stock. Diamond, her sire is imported. She’s not far from the fells of England, which keeps her true to the breed. Fiona has had much handling since birth. She leads in and out of the barn every day. She ties and crossties for grooming and bathing (loves her baths on a hot day!) Fiona will pick up her feet, and stands nicely for the farrier. She’s an “in your pocket” one for sure. I hate to let this little dream filly go, but just can’t keep her. I’m looking for an excellent home, someone who has knowledge of the breed and can give her the home she deserves.
