Frannie has that wonderful calm, confident, in your pocket friendly temperament that Ole’s offspring are known and cherished for. She was lightly started under saddle at five years old, only ridden occasionally due to my health but has been in training twice a week since this Spring with a professional R+ trainer to develop her skills. She has more whoa than go, is curious, a thinker and likes to understand the why of what you are asking. If you want a more forward horse or a dressage prospect then she isn’t the girl for you. If you are looking for a best friend to explore the trails with and stop and smell the roses then keep reading. 🙂 She is more geared for being a prospect for trail riding, horseback archery, driving (with further training/life experience). She is not mareish and has always been at the bottom of the herd order in whatever configuration of mares and geldings we have had her in through the years. She is an easy keeper with great barefoot hooves, no history of laminitis, no vices. Loads easily and is good for our barefoot trimmer and vet. She had a breeding soundness exam last year (I was looking into the possibility of breeding her) and everything looked good. If you are interested in Frannie, please message and tell me a bit about yourself and your experience/horsemanship style. I am happy to answer any questions you may have and share more photos. I will get some video as weather and my health allows. The only reason I am selling her is my ongoing, worsening health condition is forcing me out of horses entirely, she is our only remaining horse and we saved the best for last. That said, I am taking my time to place her and want to make the best match to set her and her new partner up for long term success. If you see her ad up here, then yes, she is available.
