This pony has been all over the trails of Arizona. She has camped, high lined, ponied, been on night right rides to the bar and grill countless times, crossed the creeks and rivers, and taught my kids how to handle a horse. She loads like a dream. Barefoot with amazing rock hard feet. She been thoroughly exposed to atvs, bikes, dogs, traffic etc.
Your kid will need to know how to ride so I recommend an confident beginner. She prefers a loose rein. We ride her in a hackamore. She ponies well so could carry your beginner if you lead. Can be jiggy if your kids allow (short legs gotta keep up) but walks out strong and can keep up with your big horse no problem. She does know how to side pass and open gates if your kid knows how to ask. She has participated in low level trail competitions and did ok. She can be standoffish with new people and likes kids more than adults. When she's comfortable with you she is brave and rarely spooks. Excellent with the farrier. Dominant mare in a herd setting. No maintenance needed stays fat on Bermuda.
Has potential to excell at driving, jumping, or gymkhana with proper training. We've had her many years and would like to see her go to an experienced home. Please ask as many questions as you like as the best home is important!!
