I must sell my sweet, darling, smooth-natural gaited, Fox Trotter Mare Mariah, because of my age and health issues. I have owned her for 13 years and we have been best friends. We have camped and ridden in the mountains and she will go anywhere. She loves water, horses and cows. She bathes, clips, hoof trims, orally worms, loads easily and ground ties. She has tough feet because I have bare footed her the past 16 years. If riding in sharp or pit-run rocks, I have boots for her. My husband recently passed away so I have not been able to ride her for six months, because of this, she is showing beginning signs of Cushings disease and I have started her on a low, 1 ml daily dosage of pergolide. If ridden often, she will not need the pergolide. She also has the beginnings of laminitis if she is turned out on spring grass and/or fed alfalfa hay. I AM PROVIDING HER ENTIRE WARDROBE: gaited saddle and pad, hackamore and bridle, saddle blankets, barefoot boots, Australian wool saddle seat pads, fly spray, shampoo, salves, brushes and combs; her entire grooming supplies, etc. She is up-to-date on shots, worming, teeth floating and trimming. She has been my entire life (in addition to my husband's terminal care) and I am so very sad to have to sell her; but she deserves a nice, busy and active life. WHAT A RIDE SHE IS !!!
