Twister is a 2010 APHA registered gelding who has experience as a rope horse and other various western riding. I personally think he could go on and be a wonderful lower level competitive trail or pleasure horse! Twister is easy to handle and lunge, but he can be very curious and in your face on the ground but is not dangerous. Twister is a dream for the farrier, loads and trailers well, and ties in cross ties or hard ties very well. I will be clear and say we are NOT selling him as a kids horse or a beginner horse at this time. Twister does have navicular, but he is sound and comfortable with corrective shoeing. While he is not a beginner’s horse, he will ride around quiet and correct for a confident horse person. I currently ride him in either a snaffle or a hackamore, but he has been ridden in a mild curb and does well with neck reining. He is around 15.2hh and is built like a tank! His personality on the ground is loving and curious, if you want a horse to love he’s your guy!
