Update: clean current x-rays just had a clean wellness check. He has been asked to step up in roping & barrels. He is showing a great deal of promise to be a great all around horse. He is not on sale but he could be bought at this time. Please no trail trail rider only. We want to see him go on to shine in the performance world.
5yr gelding fancy broke. Was started by Richard Boatwright of B1 horsemanship as a 2yr old (90 days) then spent 60 days with a ranch versatility show guy as a 3yr old. Has been hauled to several rodeos. Pushed calves out at the rodeos. Punched jr bucking bulls. Has day worked, started breakawaying & even knows the barrel pattern. He is very eager to please. He just doesn’t know exactly how to really run yet as we have not asked for that yet. It’s there if you ever want it he’s just a late bloomer on it. He will be the kind you can ask for it then turn around & ride around like a show pony. He can go in any direction. He is such a cool horse & safe riding out for about anyone that can ride. He has a huge personality. Comes when you call his name no matter how far out he is in the pasture. He is made for the long haul. Big stout bones. We did end up shoeing him this fall as we were constantly on rocks & they were keeping his feet broke up. He has great feet. If you didn’t plan on working him on rocks & had a professional barefoot trimmer he could go back barefoot. He is sound in every way & vet checks are welcome at buyers full expense to the vet you wish to use. He has been shown at 1 ranch horse show & did really good. I personally think he would shine in that world. No matter what he does he will be the most honest same trip every time kind of horse. No tire kickers. We have well over 20k getting him here on the ground raised up & broke the way he is. He has had the best start to life anyone could ask for.
