UC Glowing Ember, “Ember” is a 9-year-old 15hh Morgan mare by UC Domination (UC Doc Daniels X UC Aria) out UC Courage Under Fire (UC Toronado X Song of Courage). Her sire, UC Domination showed extensively, including with UConn students in the Classic Pleasure Limit Horse Class and Championship. UC Domination retired his impressive show career, returning permanently to UConn as a teaching stallion and sire. UC Courage Under Fire was an excellent broodmare who produced several successful foals, including many that remain in the UConn Riding Program competing in IHSA and IDA. Ember has inherited her sire’s expression, intelligence, and the athleticism her dam has proven to pass on to her foals. Ember would excel with an intermediate to advanced rider that would prioritize furthering her training and career in the show ring. She has been used in Intermediate and Advanced Dressage and Hunt Seat Lessons. Ember is consistently jumping 2’3 but would prefer the jumper ring due to her forward way of going. She stands well for vet & farrier, loads, ties and is confident on trails.
