I bought "Val", last August, at the age of 6 1/2, knowing that she had been bounced from owner to owner and had dropped a colt somewhere in-between. She had no ground manners what-so-ever and sufferred from a major dose of separation anxiety, both of which have been eliminated. She trailer loads, stands nice for a bath, nice for the farrier, and is broke to line drive and for the use of a western saddle with a rear cinch. I have spent hundreds of hours and miles in ride time in the arena using a rope/hackamore and in ground work both in and out of the arena. I consider her 85% finished, she will however, pull off a buck on occasion when out in the pasture and since I'm 69 years old and i live alone, my family members want me to find someone younger to pass her off to and who will give her a good home and be just as kind, loving, and consistent with her as I have been She is 7. She is smart. She is willing, she is beautiful.
