“Lucy” Lil bit okie Lucy is registered AQHA foundation bred grulla filly out of JNP horses in Hugo, OK. She spent her first 2 years growing up like every horse should - in a herd of horses on 20 acres of pasture. She should mature to 15 - 15.1. I selected this filly specifically for her brain, build and color. JNP is notorious for their beautiful, calm and intelligent horses. Her genetics are Dnd1 and EE and she even carries a copy of cream! This means there are several color combinations possible for her foals including buckskin, grullo, palomino, bay dun, dunskin etc. depending on the color of the stud. Lucy is quiet and calm. She is very intelligent. She is a little on the shy side but not overly reactive. She would probably rank lower in a herd and is not at all mare-ish. Her response to pressure is to think or move away, never to strike out. She came to Arizona in April 2024 where I started training her. Her sale price will continue to rise as her training progresses. Lucy is a STUNNING balanced mover. I am anticipating first ride to be late June. She’s 2 in May so I am taking my time moving forwards. Because I am not a well known trainer, all of their progress is documented. It can be found on my various social media accounts (Horsepower Equine). You can also search “hpazlucy as a hashtag and the videos should come up.
