Troy is a 14.2h 5 year old palomino paint gelding that is laid back and gentle as they come. He loves to cruise out on trail or just around the ranch bareback or under saddle. He has been used in a lesson program both english and western as well as leased to beginner rider. Very light in the face and gives to bit at walk, trot, and canter. Ridden in snaffle or shank bit. He has been shown showmanship, halter, english pleasure/eq, western pleasure/eq, ranch riding, and trail class. He has also shown training level dressage. He is versatile but probably loves trail the most. I feel he would excel at ranch riding. He is the smoothest horse I've ever ridden. He is barefoot, up to date on farrier, vaccines, and teeth (April 2024). Only for sale to the best home because owner is switching disciplines to dressage and it is not his passion, we have owned him 3 years and absolutely love him. He loves to be pampered and will fall asleep while grooming. He is definitely more of a kick ride. No quirks or bad habits. Ties, bathes, clips, trailers, will walk over seesaw, tarps, or bridges.
