Sadie has been the companion horse to my show gelding for the last 2 years. She has a shoulder injury that makes her lane at the trot and lope. She is barefoot, no cushings, no founder, and no background on how she was injured. She was a rescue and is the kindest, sweetest, and gentlest little pony. Not mare-ish at all! She is shy, especially with men and around the left side of her face but loves children. She does not like crossties but can be tied with a rope. Has never kicked or reared. Loads and unloads on the trailer just fine. I have never ridden her, the people who gave her to me did, but I have no knowledge on how she does under saddle or on the trail. She is lame at the trot and lope but fine at the walk. Doesn’t need any maintenance or care for her injury. I am having surgery next week and getting ready to move and need to find her a new home asap, otherwise she would be my lawn ornament for life.
