Horse Skills, Disciplines, Attributes
Luna was foaled May 6, 2012 - on the night of the super moon, hence the name. She is by a Jockey Club Thoroughbred stallion and out of a Shagya Arabian mare, who is registered with the ASAV as Raa's Perry.
Luna was professionally (and lightly) started at three years old by FAB Horsemanship. She also has had a spring tune-up every year with FAB Horsemanship.
Luna has just begun her jumping training. She competed in her first schooling show on September 8, 2018, over the x-rails and 2' jumps. She placed second on the x-rails and first in 2'.
Luna has competed in one playday with a 12-year-old as her rider. She also has completed multiple 25 mile endurance rides.
She truly is a well rounded, well trained horse ready to go any direction!!
The question everyone now wants to ask - Why was she spayed?
She herself had no problems or attitude during heat cycles, but her owner's geldings would get pretty annoying. Particularly, the one named Casanova.... Her owner at the time intended to keep Luna, and decided that she would rather not deal with that long term, so Luna was spayed.
