Dillon is a 17 year old registered Tennessee Walking Horse Gelding. We have used him for the past 6 years as a Field Trial horse, and with a previous owner he did trail competitions. Dillon has been ridden over a variety of trail obstacles, had dogs running around his legs and guns shot off around him. He is a wonderful horse and the only reason we are selling him is because he becomes agitated when taken off the property to be ridden. He is most comfortable in an arena or being ridden around the property where he lives. He is not a beginner horse, he would work best for an assertive intermediate or advanced rider. Dillon is very broke and has a lot of buttons he side passed, turns on haunches and forehand. He jumps right into the trailer and will stand tied to it all day. He ground ties, clips, bathes and generally is a joy to handle and be around. He will even park out to make mounting from the ground easier. His feet are in great shape, he can go barefoot and will still gait. He does require some maintenance in the form of Chiropractic every few months to keep him comfortable and Ulcer medication if he is if ridden off the property as he is prone to Ulcers. He has a current coggins and is up to date on shots. With the right person I think he could easily become comfortable with being trail ridden off the property.
