This beautiful Morgan gelding has been trained professionally in the discipline of Western pleasure. As with all morgans, he is smart, eager to please, forward, and a joy to ride! He has a soft mouth, beautiful W/T/C and goes off of verbal commands and very little leg. He is good for the farrier and vet, and is UTD on Coggins and all shots.

When I purchased this horse, I was looking not only for a well-trained western pleasure gelding (which he is), but also a trail horse. This guy has not been desensitized to many things outdoors, so I am NOT recommending him as a trail horse unless you have the time to put in to working with him. I have him boarded on a small farm, and can ride him indoors and in the outdoor ring. But he has anxiety once we go off the farm property on to a trail. He also needed to be lip-chained to get onto a trailer, but then he walked right on!

Otherwise he is affectionate, nickers when he sees me, and loves to be fussed over! He can be ridden english, but he has been ridden western or bareback for most of his life He does need a rider with light hands and an educated leg and seat. He could be used as a lesson horse. He does go into the canter from a walk. He doesn't toss his head around when I ride, but rather puts his head into a nice headset. Honestly, this guy is a great horse for that person who either doesn't trail ride or has the time to desensitize him to the outdoors!
