What a fancy colt! Dottie consistently puts baby-doll heads and big strong hips on her foals.. along with an outstanding disposition and athletic ability. This colt is an exceptional prospect. Dots Okie's grandsire, Dots Jessie, had an impressive show record with points in both AQHA Cow Horse and AQHA Reining. He was the 1983 AQHA World Champion in Open Senior Working Cow Horse, the 1980 AQHA World Champion in Open Senior Reining, and earned his Performance Register of Merit in 1980. This colt is pretty, athletic, and hands-down a stand-out! Owning Fritzy King Chex since his yearling year, we have raised, halter trained, and started/ridden most all of his foals and have never been disappointed. Fritzy is a Central Wyoming Cutting Club and National Cutting Horse Association money earner with very limited showing. He is the son of Oasis Ranch's gorgeous stallion, A Cowboy At Heart, by King Fritz Two. Unfortunately, A Cowboy At Heart was injured as a long two year old when he was cast in his stall. For a horse with so much talent, conformation, and color, it was a major disappointment. Marilyn Bowling said, “He was so perfect for a futurity horse and in one night, it was over. It was heartbreaking to learn that his career ended before it even started.” He bred his first mares when King Fritz Two was no longer able to breed, and they have two of those first daughters in their broodmare band to this day. His foals not only show but they also work for a living and are found on ranches all over the west. You won’t find many of them for sale. The Oasis Ranch rarely has any left after their yearling year, and they sell well. This colt is bred to be an outstanding reiner, reined cowhorse, or a nice cutter. He is a beautiful colt with his whole life ahead of him; we can hardly wait to see him fill out!
