Tilly is a 2017 grade bay mare. She's just between 13.2 & 13.3 hands at the withers, 14 hands at the hip and about 800lbs. Her mom is a 15 hand 1000 lb quarter horse, however we have no idea what Tilly's sire is. I'm expecting that she'll mature to about 14.1 - 14.2 hands high. Tilly stands tied, has had a few baths, good with fly spray and vaccinations and the farrier. All the ground work is done, she's been sacked out with tarps, has been ground driven, is starting showmanship and has had 6 rides (walk, trot, lope, whoa and backs softly) in the round pen in a side pull. Her face can be sensitive, she's not head shy at all, however she'll need a rider/trainer with soft and steady hands. She has been exposed to dogs, tractors, atv's, goats and little kids, however she is not a kids horse! Maybe with time? But for now, she has a lot of go when asked. She will need to continue on with someone who has ample experience in finishing horses, she's very athletic and very willing to please with the right amount of responsiveness. Tilly will be adopted out with an adoption contract pending home visit approval. She is currently located at Allegiance Ranch and Equine Rescue.
