Caspian, registered name DCA Utopia, is a dually registered half polish arabian/half friesian out of UKO. He is a gorgeous bay with a little bit of dappling and a small black dash on his left hindquarter that we lovingly refer to as his 'friesian spot', he luckily inherited the full friesian mane and tail, and is standing at 15.2-15.3hh. I've been fortunate enough to own him for the past 7 years, and am selling him because of some recent rider injuries (broken foot and torn acl) which have depleted my horse fund rather quickly... I also am trying to finish college, and have made the tough decision to sell in order for me to afford finishing school. He has tons of potential and I am hoping to find him another loving rider who can keep learning with him. He is a goofy, lovable, fun horse, with 3 smooth and gorgeous gaits. Has shown some 1st and 2nd level dressage and has been in training with Lauren Henderson of Duostar Dressage, I have also done a working student program on and off with her the last 3 years. I started with Caspian in 4-h, have done a few arabian shows (he actually managed to make horse of the year for young amateur a few years back), and a bunch of dressage schooling shows with him. In addition, I love taking him on the trails, and recently gave my boyfriend (a beginner) a couple of lessons on him. While he is very tolerant, I don't recommend him for a beginner since he can have the typical arabian curiosity and "lookiness" in new environments. He stands, loads, clips, bathes, and shoes all wonderfully. He is sound, healthy, and has good feet. He is also up to date on teeth, feet and vaccinations. Hoping to find someone who can move with him through the levels, and have as much fun with him as I have. He is definitely my heart horse, and if I won the lottery he would be off the market instantly.
