Paoli (pronounced "Pow Lee") is a Beautiful performance bred palomino gelding. His dam is an endurance Champ Arabian, his sire is a QH reiner. He has training and experience english and western, and years of trail miles. Paoli is light to the aids, loves to work arena and trail. Knows lateral work, simple changes, neck reins with leg cues, very smooth lope. Always sound, currently barefoot, very good feet and conformation. Is an awesome endurance horse that loves interaction (He is a g-grandson of El Shaklan...!) He knows all the natural horsemanship groundwork, level III. Does well in halter and showmanship. With arena drills he can try to anticipate cues and at times gets a little anxious, but for a rider with feel and an independent seat he is a sports car to ride and show. Super honest, awesome work ethic, excellent endurance on trail with super recovery low RHR. He is our lead horse on big rides. Gets along well with everyone in pasture, ties well, great for the farrier, easy to clip, bathe, trailer, and tack up. He can be looky with new areas, but has zero bolt, buck, or rear. He has been ridden the past 2 years by my daughter in 4H events, clinics, and hunter under Saddle lessons. She has jumped small courses on him, and ridden him on LD rides (18 to 25 miles). I have ridden him cowboy dressage, and trail trial clinics. I check fences on him, and helped the neighbor cows walk back to their field, he was brave and reliable. He is smoothly forward and light to the aids, so more suitable for an intermediate rider. Very rateable, extremely smart and willing. A good citizen that bonds to his rider. Current with dental, worming, vaccines, psyllium, & farrier. We are selling him as my daughter has decided to focus on jumpers and is moving up to a warmblood or Thoroughbred with more jumping scope and dressage forward movement.
