Details
Echo is a beautiful mare with a great personality and mind. She is between 15.2 15.3hh. She is green broke to ride, ground drive, and pulled a training sled as a 3 year old. Has trail rode in groups and alone. I think with some consistent work she could easily make a great family horse. She can sit for long periods and tacks up and does whatever is asked of her. If she doesn't understand she tries hard to figure out what she needs to do. This girl loves attention, is curious, inquisitive, comes running with a whistle, and loves to play in water. Has never been looky or spooky and is more whoa than go but not dull, just out of shape right now. I took her to be bred in late May, she was there for less than 2 weeks and went into heat on the 25th so she is due around April 21st. The sire is a 17.2hh full black and white Spotted Draft. I don't have any photos of him but am trying to get some. I do have a photo of a foal by him born last month. Confirmed in foal this month via ultrasound. I have her on a 6 week farrier schedule during summer and typically 8 weeks in winter. Great feet and is barefoot year round. She has a Neg Coggins dated Feb 2020, was vaccinated with a 5 way and West Nile. Wormed early this month as well as given a Rhino Vaccine for her 5th month in foal, to help the foal develop immunity. I also have her 7th and 9th month boosters of Rhino that will go with her. Teeth checked and they saw no need to float her right now. She did get a cut on her heel bulb in Early June. Vet came immediately and suggested not stitching it as it was purely cosmetic and put her on antibiotics for a few weeks to be safe. It is healed now but did leave a lump of scar tissue. She has never been unsound and even with the injury she never took an off step.
