Affectionally known as "Monkey," this colt has been an absolute joy to have. He naturally wants to be with people and enjoys learning. Although he's spent most of his life out with the herd until recently, he quickly accepted the halter, feet handling, ears being touched, mouth/teeth examined, and thorough grooming without ever offering to kick. He leads willingly away from the barn alone and is respectful of your space. He is extremely friendly, but is not mouthy and has not been hand fed treats/grain. He would be a wonderful first colt for someone with horse experience who's ready to try their hand at training one from the ground up.

This colt is straight and correct. He's been raised in a herd, not in a stall and is growing just like he should. No hot feeds or confinement, and although he's "at the trainers," he has not been overhandled or desensitized. We teach them age appropriate skills and then turn them back out to grow.

Dam consistently throws babies that are gentle-minded and willing to please, not to mention colorful and athletic; which is no surprise if you look at her bloodlines. Monkey is already showing the same trainable traits and is going to turn heads in and out of the arena.
