Prairie is a little horse with a big personality and a stunning, golden coat that is sure to get you noticed anywhere! She is remarkably steady and calm for her age and has already clocked miles of group trail experience. Prairie arrived mid-October to California from Ohio and is quick to bond to her person. She is easy to handle, ties and leads well, is not fearful of water, and loads and hauls like an absolute pro. She has all necessary ground manners - tying, leading, grooming, tacking, lunging, bathing, and farrier work; currently, she is learning to yield to pressure on the ground. This young lady is broke, comfortable, and ready to finish your way as a trail prodigy. She has no wariness to riding and would rather take things slow. She takes any saddle and and go bitless. She is currently barefoot and up to date on all routine care. Prairie is uncomplicated to lunge and will walk over ground poles or jumps, and one of her talents is her at-liberty skill. She is very polite when taking food and thrives with positive reinforcement. Due to her young age, she is best suited with an experienced rider. While she can react to loud noises and sudden movement, Prairie does not have a big spook and is overall brave and quiet. She has no ill will and just needs a confident rider to give her more education. She would much prefer to live in a pasture and remain as a trail horse as she does not particularly care for arena riding. Prairie is not registered, but does have Coggins papers and a PPE from October. She is sound and sane. She is known to be a Tennessee Walker, though may be mixed with some Fox Trotter.
