Honey is a beautiful ~12/13yo red dun grade QH mare standing at 15.2h and built like an absolute TANK. She has had some time in professional training, has been on cattle drives, and was bred (in Oregon) for calm demeanor and mountain riding. Had papers at some point but previous owners have lost them. This mare neck reins, has a fantastic stop, and listens to voice commands. I took her to the OHC Mountain Trail course in Eugene and she did absolutely fantastic! This mare has a quick mind and a fast walk, she’s got places to be, but is not spooky or dangerous in any way and has never offered to buck or run off. Just wants to move fast. She is a very sweet mare and does not change attitude when in heat. Honey is the same every day, every ride. She would be great for a confident youth, ranch work, OHSET, trail riding, western dressage, gaming, or just a casual riding horse. UTD on vaccination, feet (front shoes), teeth, and dewormer. Clips, stands, trailers, bathes. Honey has slight inflammation in her LF coffin joint that showed up on a flex test. Due to this, she requires injections (~$150) every 6-12 months. She was recently injected, so it won’t need to happen again for a while. I can provide the x rays and two veterinarian statements. Asking 6,000, VERY NEGOTIABLE to a good home, as we would love to see her go to her new people soon. Located in Albany, OR. Videos available. Schedule with me to come see her!
