Konejo is a little fireball, but quite a sensible one. He's calm and confident in his work, but still needs his rider to help him if something worries him. Not yet a schoolmaster, but does not need an expert rider in my opinion. He's a very friendly outgoing guy, with a huge presence and so much zest for life! He's a horse that's up for anything anytime. Started at 5 and trained and ridden in balance and self carriage in the tradition of Nuno Oliveira. Riding this sensitive and expressive horse is a real pleasure. So much life and generosity and spirit. He's very smooth and responsive. Works in a snaffle or double bridle. Easy lateral work. Starting flying changes and Medium gaits. Diagonalization towards piaffe in hand and under saddle. I'm planning to show him Second Level in April. Amazing liberty horse. Getting out on trails this spring, he's proving himself to be quite solid and happy to go anywhere in the snaffle bridle. He rides just like a ranch horse - goes where I send him, stands still patiently, all on a loose rein. I haul him to the trails by himself or I pony another horse off him. Konejo could be a Working Equitation star. I've opened and closed gates off him just in the course of riding him around - he's very helpful, gets me to the right place and waits for me to latch the gate. Loads and travels perfectly, lives out in the herd, barefoot. No known vices or behavioral issues. No supplements or medications. I am the second owner of this horse, had him since he was 2. I really care about him and need the person to be the right match. I'm available most evenings Pacific Daylight Time (GMT-7) 7-9pm 1-306-240-9518 or email anytime: zuschramm@hotmail.com
