I bred, raised and trained Liberty as an eventing horse. He is a stunning, elegant dressage horse who always finishes at or near the top of his division. The judges love his gaits, especially his ground-covering walk. He is a brave cross country horse, and easily tackles training and preliminary level questions. He has a huge jump for show jumping; however, he is not a careful show jumper and he takes down a lot of rails. I have come to realize that he would be better suited as a dressage horse. He is easy enough for a young rider or adult amateur, yet talented enough for a more advanced rider. He is strong, sound, elegant and very easy to work with. He has lovely trot and canter lengthenings, and beautiful lateral movement. He is a seasoned show horse and has impeccable manners at home and at the shows. He is 3/4 Oldenburg and 1/4 AQHA. If you are looking for your next dressage superstar, Liberty is your guy. The attached video shows us doing dressage for novice level eventing, where he won the dressage and took first place in a very competitive division at Galway Downs in Temecula, Ca. USEA # 172001. USEF # 5401566.
