💥Stormy💥 GRADE 8/9 yr old 42/43" mare. Stormy is absolutely gorgeous! Right now she is a dark charcoal/black with her winter coat. In the summer, she is an unusual color between a blue roan or steele grey with some rabicano along her sides. I'm not up to date in all the color genetics but I was told she appears to have a silver gene due to her mane and tail being silver. She could definitely have some beautiful babies if you choose to breed her. We bought her for our son in 2020, he was 4 at the time and a confident beginner. He has ridden her at ranch rodeos, in our different pastures, down the dirt roads and along the very busy stretch of highway at our home pasture. We also have lots of dogs, cattle, big farm tractors, 4 wheelers, etc.. you can lead her from a 4 wheeler or another horse although he has always ridden her without being led. She is more push than go but does have the ability to be fast if your kid can get her going. He usually rides her with spurs. He helps catch, brush, saddle, clean feet. He also loads and unloads her himself. She hauls and ties good. She can be stubborn at times but with us she is often turned out for weeks or even months at a time. She was turned out all last winter and did not offer to buck when we saddled her up this spring. If he rides her more consistently she does great. She doesn't like her ears touched but is easy to bridle. She will move around when we spray her with fly spray or a hose but it's not bad. To be honest I haven't worked with her on those much since it's never been an issue for us. Stormy has good feet and has been 100% sound since we've had her. We welcome a PPE at buyers expense. Our boys have moved up to full size horses.
