Standing a smidge over 16h at 20 months. Expected to be 17.2+. Ziva is a very sweet and sensible young mare. She is easy and happy. Affectionate and enjoys humans. She has been a fabulous babysitter for my younger foal. She trailers, ties, bathes, stands for farrier, cross ties and generally does everything a young well rounded lady needs to. In August 2021 Ziva acquired an injury referred to as “Sweeney shoulder”. She immediately got the best and most appropriate treatment and because of this she is much improved and is now able to take backwards steps and has much better control over that left shoulder. It is not slowing her down and she is running and romping around like she doesn’t know anything different. She is being offered as broodmare prospect primarily and although she will be perfectly trail riding sound, the shoulder will likely always have some atrophy.
