We will be traveling through LA to Monterey soon so set up an appointment to try him out near you! Mr. Peabody is one hell of a horse. He has so much kindness, try and brains that you can teach him practically anything in a few days. He has had lots of natural horsemanship training and eats it up. He has the smoothest gaits, a wonderful canter and excellent lateral movement. He has been all over the country on trails and handles madness unflinchingly. City and neighborhood riding with garbage trucks, llamas, pigs, goats, atv's, motorcycles, mountain bikers flying up your butt, runners who you think are going to stop and get off the trail but then keep on trucking and blaze inches by you. He is a cool cucumber. Yet he is not lazy! Put a leg on and you don't have to work for it. He hauls like a champion and begs you to take him everywhere you go. He calls and nickers to you and eagerly meets you at the gate. Ask him to "come get you" and he will siddle on up to whatever you are standing on, hop on him bareback and go on a solo ride after him not being ridden for weeks. He has been shown and done well also so go in the show pen and win! Or put your beginners or kid on him and go on a trail. Why not haul to the wilderness, highline him and go horse camping. Meet all your friends there and go in a big ass group. He does it all! This may sound mad, but I also think he would be a stellar lower level Dressage horse for someone with a bad back. All of the gaited horse people say NEVER TROT a gaited horse but Peabody just does what you tell him to. He has been trained by some of the best gaited horse trainers in the business so his gaits are super super solid and natural. That being said. He has a beautiful trot. I can tell him to go from a flat foot walk to a trot to a foxtrot then a canter and he does it all perfectly. He does nice circles as well even though he's not supposed to be able to. His canter is a dream. So so smooth. He is very smart and extremely trainable. He is also one heck of a mountain horse. He thinks about going over obstacles and takes his time picking through the rough stuff. I have taken him on very extreme trails and he handles it all with careful thought, calm and ease. He really is an all around wonderful horse with a fantastic mind. Also, he's gorgeous, these photos don't do him justice. He's looking for his new forever home due to my severe back problems. This is the horse of a lifetime and I will only sell him to an amazing home. He deserves the best an the partner of a lifetime, so come meet him!
