Tanzer (Furstentanz) is a gorgeous, imported, 16.2 hand bay Oldenburg gelding by Furst Romancier out of Rosenstolz, a “hauptstutbuch” mare from the famous Rubenstein I bloodlines. He’s 12 years old (June 2010) and was imported from Germany in 2016. I bought him intending to bring him along as a dressage prospect but I’ve never been able to give him the time and energy he needs. With this in mind, I have sadly made the decision to sell him.

Tanzer is a beautiful mover and talented athlete with lovely conformation, but at almost 12 years of age he’s still essentially a green horse. He’s a total sweetheart and a joy to have in the barn and he’ll make an amazing, fun and rewarding project for the right person! As a green horse, he needs to be in a consistent program with an experienced rider who is willing to be his “leader” and spend time with him to earn his trust. He has a kind and gentle temperament and perfect ground manners! He doesn’t have any vices. He clips, ties, is good for the farrier and is an easy, seasoned traveler.

Due to my personal circumstances, I haven’t been able to ride him for the last several months. I’ve been lunging and doing ground work with him.
