Captain is that once in a lifetime true all around dream horse everyone is looking for. He is 2011 draftcross standing 15.3 hands and weighing 1400 lbs. He is one of our personal ranch horses that we haveowned and loved for 7 years. He is truly a kind and gentle soul that anyone and everyone can ride andenjoy without worry, from a 4 yr old to an 80 year old. We have used him for all phases of ranch work,from gathering in steep country, to sorting hundreds of pairs, and crossing every kind of water or bridge inbetween. He is well broke with a great handle and neck rein, stops on a dime, opens closes gates,doesn’t care if he’s in the lead or following others on the trail, and is as excellent out alone by himself and/or leaving others as he is in a group. He is the horse we put our 4 yr old daughter on to go check cattle orhave fun on in the arena over and around all the trail obstacles. He is incredibly smooth at the trot andlope, and easy and uncomplicated for any level rider. He is also incredibly versatile and truly broke,making him a favorite for the most advanced riders as well. You can use him to carry a flag, walk overtarps, break and pony colts, ride bareback to the pond, or simply be one the favorites at the famous bigVaquero and Ranchero rides. He is also an incredible driving horse that has worked on teams farmingcrops, as well as a single driver pulling gorgeous carriages.
