Lovely 22 year old thoroughbred/trakehner mare 👀 for a new 🏠, sold as grade. Rosie stands about 16.3hh and is sound and healthy. She does have fused hocks(no x-rays in hand but PPE is welcome) and therefore is a flatwork horse only. Up to date on cares and is great for the vet and farrier. She is a well broke and fun ride who would do best with one person. Over the last six years she has been a part of a program where she was ridden by many youth. She is consigned through me for a client and has been ridden consistently over the last few weeks. There is absolutely no buck, bolt, rear, etc. under saddle; she does need someone who is confident to handle a few quirks on the ground. Cross ties, straight ties, clips, and loves to be groomed. Does need some extra time to load in a trailer(about 10-15 minutes) but once in, is respectful and hauls well whether it is alone or with another horse. Very easy keeper - on glucosamine for joint health but otherwise looks great on just quality hay. Does fine in a herd and lives outside 24/7. Ideally she would do well with someone looking for a lower level dressage horse, an experienced older youth, or someone wanting to leisure ride. She is BROKE and just looking for someone who wants to do some fine tuning or perfect their discipline. Rosie has a ton of life left in her and is truly a fun horse to ride. More woah than go, but she can be asked to move forward. I’ve thrown everything possible at her - giant balls, cattle, flags, trail rides, bridges, noodles, etc. - and nothing seems to phase her.
